River of Hearts is a Charity Programme of the Community Center Shanghai.

Their mission is to provide a way for people to donate clothing, shoes, bedding, toys and other items in good condition to people in need.  They work with various charities and governmental organisations to deliver donated items.

Donations:  Clothing, shoes, bed linens, blankets and normal sized toys.

Monthly newsletter in French 

Created in 1999 in Shanghai by a group of dynamic French ladies.

Donations: Used household goods, clothing for needy families.  Used computers, monitors, printers for handicapped/sick rehabilitation in conjunction with SOHO

For 11 years they have worked in the charitable sponsoring of children's medical fees and education, worked with old people and many other fields. Large international corporations have worked through them to channel charity money into local needs. Their work is strictly audited. They collect donations of the following:

1. new goods from corporate enterprises and individuals

2. old and used goods (clothes, shoes, toys, household goods, furniture)

3. upscale goods such as jewellery and antiques for auction
